From A1 north or south: Take A168 (signed Thirsk). After approx 4 miles take the turnoff signed A19 York (don't take the Thirsk turnoff unless you want to visit the town). At the roundabout at the foot of the slip road take the A19 York exit. Follow the A19 York Road for approximately 2 miles, passing the signpost for Bagby; continue for about 1/2 mile and you will see the sign for Thirkleby Hall Cottages on the left.

From the north (A19): Leave the A19 at the York exit (don't take the Thirsk turnoff unless you want to visit the town). The sliproad takes you straight onto the A19 York Road; follow this road for approximately 2 miles, passing the signpost for Bagby; continue for about 1/2 mile and you will see the sign for Thirkleby Hall Cottages on the left.

From the south (A19): From the York ringroad take the A19 to Thirsk. The gatehouse to Thirkleby Hall Cottages is on the right-hand side, just after the signpost for Thirkleby and Coxwold.

From Thirsk Town Centre: From the market place take the road past HSBC bank and follow the one-way system, taking the right-hand lane marked A19 York. Turn right at the mini-roundabout, continue to the next roundabout (about 1/4 mile), and go straight on, signed A19 York. After a further 1/2 mile go straight on at the next roundabout, still following A19 York. This takes you straight onto the A19 York Road; follow this road for approximately 2 miles, passing the signpost for Bagby; continue for about 1/2 mile and you will see the sign for Thirkleby Hall Cottages on the left.
